Horton Expands Fan Drive Core Exchange Program
Customers can now exchange DriveMaster and DM Advantage Fan Drive cores as part of the expanded Horton exchange program. The program also includes certain competitor fan drives. Fan Drive cores can be exchanged for credit toward the purchase of a Horton Reman fan drive.
- Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) September 23, 2010 - Horton has expanded its Fan Drive Core Exchange Program to include all DriveMaster® and DM Advantage Fan Drive cores, including fan drives not currently in the Reman program. Customers can exchange these and certain competitor fan drives for credit toward the purchase of a Horton remanufactured fan drive.
Credit is now available for Horton S, HT/S, DriveMaster and DM Advantage Two-Speed and MSC3 fan drives. Competitor fan drives, added to the program in 2009, eligible for credit include BorgWarner Kysor® K26, Kysor K30 and Cool Logic; Behr controllable viscous; Kit Master Gold Top On/Off and Two-Speed; and Bendix On/Off fan drives.
"In a world increasingly focused on reduce, reuse and recycle, the Horton Fan Drive Core Exchange Program and remanufactured fan drives help to reduce waste and reuse appropriate components," says Tom Hujik, director of aftermarket and field sales. "Our reman fan drives are manufactured with genuine Horton parts and engineering, pass rigorous testing and carry Horton's industry-leading warranty. Reman fan drives present a price-conscious solution -- also important in today's economy."
To be eligible for full credit, fan drives must be complete and assembled. Cores, including competitive models, will receive partial credit if any components are missing. Cores will be considered for partial credit if sheaves or mounting brackets are damaged in shipment.
Details of the program are outlined in Horton's Core Acceptance Guide at www.hortonww.com/core.
