- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) February 03, 2012 - Finally some good news! Someone is rewarded for not only creating "jobs" but "career jobs!"
The Casey & Son Horseshoeing School owner Ralph Casey has operated a successful business in
La Fayette, Walker County, since 1989. This school is providing careers for men and women alike from across the US and some from abroad. In the 22 years, thousands of self employed "Professional Certified Farriers" graduated from this school and continue their education at the Farriers' National Research Center and School which was also formed by Casey and a small group of concerned horse owners and farriers in 2001.
Link Casey, son, started his farrier education at age 13 and joined the teaching staff at age 23 in 2008 and quickly achieved his Master Farrier Certification as the youngest in the Brotherhood of Working Farriers Association, Inc., the largest in the US. Link and others like him will carry on the tradition and widely needed service for the horse owning public.
The Senate Resolution 49EX dated August 30, 2011 was presented to Casey on January 23, 2012 by the following in this photo
