Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) July 22, 2010 - Hooks Enterprises, an internet business development company, has successfully won lawsuits against multiple parties, including a SOP Holdings, a Nevada business holding company that purchased a majority of its business in 2009 and failed to deliver on its contractual obligations.

In addition to its former owner James Robert Hooks, Hooks Enterprises also won judgments against multiple clients for defamation, slander, false impersonation, and other damages.

Against the Nevada business holding company, Hooks Enterprises was awarded an undisclosed amount for damages due to breach of contract, failure to perform contractual duties, numerous violations of the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act, business disparagement and tortious interference. Damages sought include restitution to past Hooks Enterprises clients, Hooks Enterprises itself, and court costs.

The documents Hooks Enterprises introduced as evidence demonstrated that SOP Holdings was wholly responsible for supplying its new clients with the services it offered.

James Robert Hooks and Hooks Enterprises also won undisclosed judgments against multiple former clients, who illegally made various false statements against both the former owner of the company and the company itself.
