- Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC (1888PressRelease) November 01, 2013 - Breakfast is widely considered the most important meal of the day, so HomeTown® Buffet is helping families start their weekends on the right foot with expanded menu offerings and extended breakfast hours. Select HomeTown Buffet restaurants in the greater Sacramento, CA area will now serve breakfast until 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and serve new menu items and improved favorites.
"The weekends are a great time for families to come together and enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed to go off to school or work," said Alice Crowder, Vice President of Marketing for Buffets, Inc. "We wanted to enhance that quality time by making improvements to some breakfast favorites like pancakes, French toast, sausages, and our Fresh For You omelet action station."
The Fresh For You omelet action station features made-to-order egg dishes including omelets, scramblers and breakfast wraps. Guests may order eggs over easy, scrambled, over medium or hard. The omelet station will also boast hash browns and diced potatoes.
In addition to improved menu items, HomeTown Buffet will feature new items, including the Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole that is offered in individual servings with cheese and bacon, strawberry and blueberry toppings for the waffle bar, thicker sliced bacon, and new bakery items.
