Homeland Entertainment Goup signs the Men of Music to the Riversong label
New release by The Men of Music is scheduled for release, on the Riversong label in December of 2010 following a number 3 chart single and more than 400,000 internet plays. The Cd Album will include songs such as: It is Well With my Soul; Hallelujah I'm Going Home; How Beautiful Heaven Must Be; Living By Faith and 6 other classics recorded with vocals accompanied only by Piano.
- (1888PressRelease) November 11, 2010 - Jackson, Mississippi based Christian trio, the Men of Music, along with Homeland Entertainment Group, are pleased to announce that The Men of Music have signed an exclusive recording contract with internationally acclaimed Homeland Entertainment Group.
According to Homeland Vice President/General Manager, Scott Godsey, the group's new project has just completed production and is scheduled for release on Homeland's "Riversong" label in December of 2010. The project includes songs such as: It is Well With my Soul; Hallelujah I'm Going Home; How Beautiful Heaven Must Be; Living By Faith and 6 other classics. Mark Carman, business manager for The Men of Music stated, "We,re very excited about the completion of this project. In 2009 The Men of Music owner, Greg Colburn brought group back on the road following a three year break from touring. In effort to sort of measure the market, the decision was made to record and release an clean, unembellished version of the old standard, "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be, featuring only vocals accompanied by piano, release it through the internet, and essentially conduct a market survey in effort to determine if the more traditional direction the group was taking would be accepted by marketplace. The test results overwhelmingly supported the concept by garnering more than 400,000 verifiable internet plays and charting in the prestigious Sound Click Charts at Number 3 out of more than 30,000 recording within the same or similar genre which were being tracked at the time. According to Greg, "The response to this recording is simply overwhelming and preorder sales are just staggering! We look forward to a tremendous year for The Men of Music in 2011 and beyond".
This recording is a compilation of songs that every age forty and above will know and want to sing along with. A must have for everyone's collection of Christian music
