The Home Emergency Chair has been specifically designed to assist family members in the home, who may require assistance to exit the house in an emergency, such as a fire, due to mobility issues such as disability, illness or other medical conditions. Since its recent launch on the Evacusafe website, sales of the Home Emergency Chair have taken off dramatically. The chair has a unique three wheel design which makes it ideal for use on stairs, both upwards and downwards, as it glides effortlessly, making it easy-to-use. For best practise it is recommend that two people assist with the evacuation to provide optimum comfort and safety to the evacuee.
Paul Mitchell, Director of Evacusafe says "We've had this new product under wraps for quite some time whist we fine tuned it to make it perfect for use in the home. It's not just a chair for use in emergencies, it's also ideal for helping less able relatives move around the home, in particular up and down stairs. We only launched it on our website recently and it's already proving popular".
