Holmes, PA Charitable Organization Receives More Than Recognition From The Lacrosse Community

Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) February 09, 2011 - HEADstrong Foundation, a Holmes, PA based charitable organization dedicated to finding a cure for blood cancers has announced it has been named charity of choice by Inside Lacrosse for the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic and Big City Classic.

At each event, a brief video will be shown sharing the story of HEADstrong Foundation founder Nicholas Colleluori and thanking the lacrosse community for its continuous support. Nicholas, a 2004 graduate of Delaware County's Ridley High School and Division I lacrosse player at Hofstra University struggled with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a vicious type of blood cancer, for over a year before he passed from the disease in November 2006 at the age of 21.

A HEADstrong tent will be in the vendor area where HEADstrong apparel will be available, including the all new R27tm line.

An annual tradition to start the season, the fifth annual edition of the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic will be held at M&T Bank Stadium on March 12, 2011.
