Meet Peter Laird a writer and artist best known for co-creating the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with writer and artist Kevin Eastman and will be appearing Saturday and Sunday ONLY alongside his fellow Mirage Studios alumnus Steve Lavigne and many others at the NorthEast ComicCon & Collectibles Extravaganza Winter November 23-25, 2018

Returning to the Boxboro Regency Hotel for Thanksgiving Weekend of November 23-25, 2018 as a Holiday Shopping Event for Collectors, Fans, Nerds and the People Who Love Them!
As always, great celebrities, fun activities, awesome collectibles, live music and comedy shows!
On Friday Nov. 23, the exhibit hall is open from 4:00 till 8:00 pm for Black Friday shopping from local pop culture entrepreneurs and artists. There will also be Panels & Q&As on Friday.
The Comedy begins at 7:00 pm with "The Spirit of ROBIN WILLIAMS" performed by impressionist Roger Kabler, with opening act "Mark Twain, Humorist" performed by historian Paul Norton. The second show of the evening will be the Women of Boston Comedy Festival, featuring Emily Ruskowski, Kathe Farris, Carolyn Plummer and Erin Spencer, all winners of BCF Semi-Finals. Separate admissions to the comedy shows include a weekend pass to the ComicCon.
Friday night's music will be from So Many Rhodes, a Grateful Dead tribute band playing 3 hours of your favorites, included in admission from 8:00 until 1:00 pm.
Saturday will feature comedy in the form of panels, live podcast recordings and live stand up. At 4:30 the cast of the new film "Sweeney Killing Sweeney" will do a panel with Q&A about the making of an independent film about a local comedy legend. The evening show at 7:00 pm will feature others who appeared in the Sweeney film including Tony V (Seinfeld) and Frank Santorelli (The Sopranos), plus Jimmy Dunn (The McCarthys), Gary Sohmers (Antiques Roadshow), Big Jim McCue and Myq Kaplan (Last Comic Standing), along with local comic Wes Hazard. A separate admission is on sale for the TV Stars Stand Up include a weekend pass to the ComicCon.
Saturday's musical line up includes GWELL-O at 3:30 pm performing a full costumed concert of Kaiju Heavy Metal Fun, followed by Gray Bouchard (Salem Wolves lead singer) doing a solo set, new Power Pop band Mick Lawless and The Reckless Hearts, instru-mental surf sounds of Tsunami of Sound and concluding with 3 piece female hard rocker band Jessica Rabbit Syndrome. All musical entertainment is included in admission to the ComicCon.
Our focus is on the family and fans who are young at heart. We keep admission low so that we can pass the savings on to our customers to be able to spend on the awesome array of original art, quality collectibles and nerd crafts. We are the most affordable convention in New England at the present time. Kids 10 and under admitted free with adult supervision.
