Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha Loves You Campaign Initiative Benefitting the Needy and Disaster Victims
The cohesive effort by the staff of Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha for Ramadan this year was concluded successfully with a presentation of over 4000 AED and 40 large containers filled with essential medicine, clothing, toys and non perishable food to the UAE Red Crescent Society.
- (1888PressRelease) October 13, 2011 - Throughout the holy month of Ramadan, guests enjoying the nightly Iftar buffet at THE GEM GARDEN - the All Day Dining Restaurant - were part of the charity drive announced by Holiday Inn at the start of the month of fasting. The hotel donated US$1 to the Red Crescent from the revenue of every Iftar. The hotel also strategically placed donation boxes within the premises inviting staff, patrons and business colleagues to deposit cash, clothes, medicine, toys and non perishable food items.
The Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha team visited the UAE Red Crescent offices to hand over the cheque and the donation boxes when Ms Roxanna Jaffer, Resident Director, Sovereign Hotels Dubai commented: "I am pleased with the support that guests have shown towards this cause and know that it is only together that we can fulfil our objective of making a tangible difference to the less fortunate. Guests and patrons have contributed generously and this means that with their help and through UAE Red Crescent, we can now restore the smiles on the faces of many families."
