Hiwe Launches an App to Bring Back 90s Chatrooms on Smartphones
Hiwe a.s. recently announced the launch of its group chatting mobile application, Hiwe app, in a bid to encourage people join chatrooms that interest them, gain knowledge and make new friends. The app offers features such as group chats, private chatrooms, image sharing and locating people in the neighborhood. Hiwe app is inspired by the chatroom rage of the 90s.

The Hiwe app offers the following key features to its users:

• Create your own memo – Start your private chatroom to know what people think about topics that matter to you.
• Share images to engage groups – You can start a chat by posting a picture with an interesting caption and spark conversations instantly.
• Find people near you – Start chatrooms to find people near you that share your interests for friendship or dating.
Online chatrooms were a rage in late 90s and early 2000s and several people found lasting friendships and even love through chatting.
“Hiwe lets people join chatrooms of their interest, find likeminded people and expand their knowledge, as well as, social circle,” adds Gordon.
