Hitsquad Production, Inc. Films Chicago Reality Series "Tattoo Factory" Scheduled to Air Nationally on WGN
Hitsquad Production, Inc. recently completed filming on "Tattoo Factory", a non-scripted reality television series which is scheduled to air nationally December 8, 2011 on WGN.
- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) November 19, 2011 - Executive Producers Kevin Worthy of Hitsquad Production and Paul Collurafici from the Tattoo Factory began filming the show in 2010. The reality series is based around talented tattoos artists and their clients' moving stories behind their tattoos. What makes "Tattoo Factory" unique is its lack of Hollywood drama typically seen on other reality television tattoo episodes. Each episode was filmed un-scripted and features real customers receiving real tattoos from real artists.
"Tattoo Factory" was shot on location at the Tattoo Factory on the Northside of Chicago. Tattoo Factory is owned and operated by Paul Collurafici, who is affectionately called "Paullie". The show reveals the origins of Tattoo Factory and each show features several real customers receiving tattoos as well as the stories behind those tattoos. The cast, crew, and customers are all local Chicagoans.
Several talented local production crew members also assisted in the filming and production of the new "Tattoo Factory" reality television series. Some notable crew members are long time Chicago Producer Beverly Price, who was a consulting producer, and Ron Leahy, who is one of the top industry Gaffers in the country.
"Tattoo Factory" will air every Thursday for six weeks starting December 8, 2011 on WGN Channel 9 in Chicago. It will also be televised nationally. Viewers should check their local listings for times.
