HireMee and Vee Technologies invited the principals and the professors at the colleges around Salem to get to know Vee Technologies through a campus visit on 21st April 2022. They visited the Salem office of Vee Technologies which is followed by the welcome address of Mr. Chocko Valliappa, CEO of HireMee. Followed by him, the COO of Vee Technologies, Mr. Muralidhar Padmanabharao presented a keynote address. The event ended with a dinner at Radisson Hotel, Salem.

The event intends to create awareness among the colleges about the opportunities created by HireMee and Vee Technologies for their students.

Mr. Chocko Valliappa gave a brief history and overview of The Sona Group, Vee Technologies, and HireMee.

Presenting about HireMee, he said, “the State Government of Tamil Nadu conducted a Job Fair in Thiagarajar Polytechnic College and Sona College of Technology Campus. 60,000 people attended the fair and 5,000 got hired. But we don’t know the status of the rest 55,000 job seekers. Whereas our HireMee application can capture the status of each candidate applying for a job.” Expanding on the mindset of the companies, he said, “usually companies hire from their backyard. Bangalore company hire from Bangalore and so on. HireMee can bring the hidden gems from interior cities like Salem to these top companies through HireMee.” He also highlighted that HireMee offers a free assessment for the students. When there are more students on the platform more top companies would come to the platform which can help the students and the country overall.

He also remarked that Vee Technologies is an employee-oriented company. Their Salem office is an example of that having an architecture that could increase employee happiness by 7%. The office is walled with smart glass and the employees are 20 feet away from the garden outside, which increases employee happiness.

He put forth the opportunities that the students can avail themselves of from The Sona Group. They have organizations across all verticals like mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, medical, IT, computer science, architecture, and more.

Mr. Muralidhar Padmanabharao presented about Vee Technologies' opportunities, “we have at least a good number of people who have been with us for close to 10 years, 15 years, 18 years, and 20 years. They all started at the associate level and now they are managing a complete vertical. Their growth is something that as a company we have provided, we have seen what their talent is we have seen what they are capable of doing. And accordingly, those opportunities are being provided.” He says the company offers huge growth to its employees.
