Nationally recognized Hip Hop Kidz hosts its end of year showcase celebrating the company's 20th anniversary.

Fort Lauderdale, FL (1888PressRelease) June 15, 2011 - The event is set for 3pm on Sunday, May 29th at the Coral Springs Center For The Performing Arts. Hip Hop Kidz has been an institution in the tri-county area and has trained thousands of kids in its 20 year history. Miami's Brandon Bryant, who became a runner-up in So You Think You Can Dance 2009, will perform at the showcase. Bryant was with Hip Hop Kidz for 8 years. Among the other returnees will be Coral Springs resident, actress, Cassie Scerbo currently starring in Make It or Break It on the ABC Family Network.
The common thread binding all the graduates from Hip Hop Kidz is their ability to apply the discipline and self-confidence that they acquired with their dancing and continue to utilize it in their future endeavors. Suzy Stone, Hip Hop Kidz founder says, "Each one of these kids discovered their uniqueness during a critical point in their lives, and I am so proud to see them come back and celebrate this important milestone."
Brandon Bryant took time off from his busy schedule to fly in and be with his former dance troop. He will stay over to conduct a workshop with the Hip Hop Kidz dancers on Tuesday with over 150 students in attndence. Cassie Scerbo will fly back to California to do a film after the showcase. Other company alumni include a college football player, West Point graduate, medical students and a wide variety of professionals.
Hip Hop Kidz is planning an expansion soon to offer licenses to qualified dance instructors throughout the country. Instructors will learn the methods of Hip Hop Kidz from Ms. Stone and her organization. "Our program is tried and true, and we have decided to offer it to the rest of the country as an after-school activity. It's something we have talked about for years and now, with so many methods of learning and communicating available via internet, we have designed a complete business package to be offered on-line along with traveling workshops.
Hip Hop Kidz Entertainment has produced videos and has a book series with Penguin Publishing sold on Amazon.com and a CD which became the sound track to their DVD "It's a Beautiful Thing." Stone is in partnership with Jim Green and Mark Bacino, veteran filmmakers who along with many films produced Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen films and videos for 10 years.
