Hip Hop Artist Minister G Turned His Former Life of Crime into Something Positive
Former Haitian gang member is ready to take his career to the next level with his new single.
- (1888PressRelease) January 31, 2014 - Minister G is quickly making an impact with the launch of his new single "Rules of Engagement," which was released by B.E. Entertainment on July 17, 2014, from the "Church Fo' Da Thugz" album. Minister G gave up his life of crime in Miami, as a Haitian gang member to pursue a better lifestyle. In 1992, he relocated to Montreal, Canada, where he signed a recording contract with independent label, Zoobone Records. Faced with several road blocks in his career and personal life, Minister G turned his challenges into a positive.
In 2013, he founded B.E. Entertainment and has released the first single of his music project. His album is a collection of 18 songs that focuses on the ethics and consequences of street life; however, he does not paint grim visuals of it. His lyrics aim to engage listeners; encourage them to think about solutions for political and social conflicts.
The album, "Church Fo' Da Thugz," was mixed by Grammy award-winning engineers, such as Leslie Brathwaite, who has worked with such artists as Rick Ross and Jeezy.
