Literacy Volunteers of East Bay provides free, individualized student-centered instruction in basic literacy and English language skills here in Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts. Literacy Volunteers of East Bay consists of roughly 100 volunteers, an 11-member Board of Directors and one administrative director. They serve over 100 learners each year through well-trained tutors and group class leaders.
