The 2025 HIM/RCM Professionals Census includes questions for year-over-year comparison as well as new topics of emerging importance. The wide-ranging survey questions include:

- Salaries and benefits
- Alternative career paths and skillsets including Coding, Billing, Data Analytics, CDI, Auditing, Compliance, and Leadership
- Comparison of training modalities and sources for professional development
- Impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and other technologies
