Outside Hilton Head recently launched a new website for its leisure recreation division at www.outsidehiltonhead.com. The new site uses unique design to deliver an immersive user experience, while streamlining online reservation processes.

Outside Hilton Head's new website is designed using a parallax method, which layers images and text for an immersive online experience. The site re-design focuses on streamlining the online reservation process, with several portals to Outside Hilton Heads reservation database throughout the site. In addition, the site features a fishing report blog, Hilton Head outdoor recreation blog, customer contact form, electronic newsletter signup, and pages with image galleries for each of its over thirty activity options.
Donna Thomas of Icon Media and Chris Rosenberry of Fifthstory Interactive designed and built the new outsidehiltonhead.com. The site's visual aspects echo those of Outside Hilton Head's printed collateral, which mimics a scrapbook, by pairing framed photographs, text and stamp imagery. With over half of the website's traffic coming from mobile users, the new outsidehiltonhead.com adjusts its layout and functionality for the best phone and tablet user experience.
