The event will feature discussions from Robbie Perkins, mayor of the city of Greensboro; Tricia Goodson, J.D., BrooksPierce partner; Tracey Murphy, CPA, Bernard Robinson & Company partner, Rob Krieg, J.D., HCW principal, health and welfare consultant; and Todd Yates, HCW managing partner.
The presentation will offer human resource and other business leaders a comprehensive perspective on multiple areas of law that impact their businesses. It will explore benefits, tax and employment law changes amassed under the current administration and the lasting impact they will have on businesses of all sizes spanning all industries. Presenters at the event will review reform provisions in effect and their impact on the business landscape, highlight future provisions and their effect on current compliance obligations, outline individual and corporate tax reform (including the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act, the expiration of Bush-era tax cuts, and the changes in federal and state tax for business), review the prior year's employment law, and preview what changes are in place for the coming year.
