Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) May 31, 2008 - McCann Systems, an innovative design-build audiovisual firm, has been awarded the consulting position for the new corporate headquarters of MorningStar, a financial investment research firm, being built in Chicago, IL. Based on McCann’s stellar track record of innovative AV integration in the corporate community, MorningStar secured McCann’s AV expertise to aid in the design, build and ultimate installation of all AV within their new corporate headquarters.
The scope of the project includes AV for multiple conference rooms, boardroom, tiered auditorium, training center, broadcast space and Head-End room, using IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) as the backbone of the design.
Director of Technology, Jonathan Shor, reports that in addition to all interior AV, McCann Systems will also introduce exterior digital signage. “The new digital signage system is essential to MorningStar to build brand awareness,” reports Shor.
Currently in the consulting phase, McCann Systems is working closely with the architectural firm, ARCHIDEAS, to incorporate state-of-the-art AV during the design and planning stages in an effort to achieve harmony between architectural and audio visual disciplines. As part of the consulting process, McCann will assess needs, concepts and feasibility, offer MorningStar clear budgetary options based on the level AV complexity, as well as provide a matrix of cost of ownership. McCann Systems will next enter the design and engineering phase, and then ultimately build and install all proposed AV technology for MorningStar’s new Chicago-based corporate headquarters.
