The Hicks& Batchelor Optometry Team:
Dr. James F. Hicks has been practicing in the Salinas, CA area for over 40 years. He graduated from Carmel High School and received his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Hicks began his work with the practice as a partner of the late Dr. Bard Daughters who purchased the practice in 1928 from Dr. E.L. Hitchcock.
Dr. Christine P. Batchelor has been practicing in the Monterey County area for over 15 years. She is an alumni of North Salinas High, Hartnell College and California State University at Sacramento. She received her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from Southern California College of Optometry.
Lauralee has been working in the optical field for over 14 years. She has been with Hicks & Batchelor Optometry for 7 years. She has the knowledge and experience necessary to help with all of your optical lens design and frame needs.
Rachael is the practice's Administrative Assistant and has been with the practice for 5 years. She will be the first person you meet and talk to. She will help you to schedule your appointment and help with all of your health benefit information.
