Hernon Manufacturing Promotes Angel Cruz to Laboratory Technician
Central Florida adhesive and equipment manufacturer promotes talent from within.
- (1888PressRelease) February 20, 2015 - Hernon Manufacturing, the innovator in adhesives, sealants and dispensing equipment is pleased to announce the promotion of Angel Cruz to Laboratory Technician.
Cruz was hired by Hernon Manufacturing, Inc in 2007 for a Bench Pouring position, soon after, he was promoted to Batch Maker where he was responsible for the manufacturing and packaging of a variety of HERNON adhesives and sealants through staging, mixing, blending and packaging tasks.
In his new role as Laboratory Technician, Cruz is responsible to conduct testing of various raw materials using various analytical and physical instruments, and gravimetric procedures. He will set up test equipment; perform specific testing, processing, or analysis as required. In addition, Cruz will collect data, prepare reports of test data, maintain departmental files, logs and records for future reference and maintain a clean and safe working environment. He also supports other Technicians, Engineers and customers as needed.
