Herber Aircraft Appoints New Director, Government Solutions
Herber Aircraft continues to grow and expand product and service offerings to its customers and is pleased to make an important staff announcement with the addition of Brian McDermott in the new position as Director, Government Solutions.
- (1888PressRelease) June 15, 2012 - Herber Aircraft Service, Inc. has announced that it has appointed Brian McDermott to fill the new position of Director, Government Solutions. In this role, Mr. McDermott will be responsible for boosting company efforts and leading all elements of Herber's manufacturing, repair center, and aftermarket distribution for the US government market specializing in military aircraft applications.

Mr. McDermott comes to Herber Aircraft from the Aerospace Industries Association, the premier trade association representing the nation's major aerospace and defense manufacturers and suppliers. McDermott previously worked in senior positions for Paragon Dynamics, L-3 Communications, and served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Logistics Officer. Mr. McDermott earned a master's degree in logistics and acquisition management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from the University of Texas at Arlington.
