In addition, with screen sizes of 21.5, 24 and 27 inches, ultra-sharp,high-quality panels and DICOM-compliant D-Image for consistent color and grayscale reproduction, these displays accurately support clinical professionals in their diagnosis.
Prevention is a top priority
Exposure to pathogens is a serious concern in clinical environments, and equipment that can control this exposure has a vital role to play. All the Philips Clinical Review Displays in the newline-up feature unique antimicrobial protective shield technology that inhibits the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms to halt the spread of infection. A (Japanese Industrial Standard) JIS Z2801-compliant additive is incorporated directly into the housing material, creating a protective shield that inhibits the growth of common microorganisms. The displays also can easily be wiped down with standard cleaning products without impairing the performance of the coating - vital for clinical environments where cleaning is frequent so needs to be as efficient as possible.

With three Philips Clinical Review Displays in the new range, featuring ultra-sharp, high-quality panels for superb color reproduction and the best-possible viewing angles, MMD is launching solutions to cover a variety of clinical imaging needs. The 24-inchIPS display (the C240P4QPYEW) and 27-inch AMVA display (the C271P4QPJEW) both work with Clinical-D image technology, delivering the accuracy which clinical professionals need to make a confident diagnosis when their patients' wellbeing is on the line. Compliant with DICOM, an international standard for producing, storing and displaying clinical imagery, the Philips Clinical Review Displays deliver superior grayscale rendering with calibration compliant with the DICOM Part 14 standard to reveal finest detail. Both also feature extra-high luminosity of 300 cd/mē to perform in environments with bright ambient light. So professionals in every field - be it pathology, radiology, dentistry or orthopedics - will see details more clearly and can zero in on even the smallest irregularities with ease.
The innovative line-up also includes a 21.5-inch USB powered monitor. Ideal for use in mobile clinical environments where AC power may not be conveniently accessible, the C221S3UCW USB display can simply be connected to a PC or notebook and power through a single USB cable.

All the new Philips Clinical Review Displays are designed with smart features that make work in clinical environments easier and more effective. They have clinical-grade power supplies for extra safety and performance, are easy to mount and adjust in any location, and feature tilt-and-swivel, height-adjustable bases, enabling clinical professionals to adjust viewing angles precisely to their preferred position, helping combat the fatigue that can so easily set in over a long working day. And to save energy, the 24-inch and 27-inch displays feature Philips Power Sensor technology, which automatically dims or turns off the screen when users move away. The displays also enhance the viewing experience in other smart ways, and come with ready-installed SmartText and SmartImage Clinic presets, each with settings optimized for the application in question. Via a customizable On-Screen Display (OSD) menu, users can toggle the viewing mode quickly between clinical and office applications.
