help AG Set to Host Security Spotlight Forum
Quarterly series of events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar to feature latest in information security.
- (1888PressRelease) April 18, 2012 - DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - help AG, a leading information security services and solutions provider in the Middle East, today announced that it will be hosting its flagship Security Spotlight Forum (SSF) in May this year. The quarterly event which is held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, Qatar features presentations by help AG and its vendor partners on the latest developments and innovations in the area of enterprise IT security.
Having hosted 16 SSF events till date, this is the third year that help AG is hosting the forum. Aimed at IT decision markers, the half-day event regularly brings together 25 to 30 top executives from leading enterprises across the region to throw light on the security threats their organizations face and to create awareness about the cutting-edge products and solutions from help AG vendor partners which address these issues.
The standard format of the forum includes a special report by a help AG consultant on a key IT security topic in response to the latest market trends. Some of the topics covered so far included Ipv6, Business Continuity Management, vulnerability assessment & network security audit, Protecting Against Cross Site Forgery Requests and Session Hijacking and more. This is followed by presentations by help AG vendor partners assisted by help AG consultants who provide technical insights and real life examples. Attendees are also offered a unique opportunity to familiarise themselves with the actual demo equipment from participating vendors during the breaks.

This edition of the Security Spotlight Forum will feature a special report on Web Application Audit & Application Code Review Service. The purpose of this report is to generate awareness on how application development and application code can be made more robust and secure since 75 percent of hacks occur at the application layer.
