The Heavy Metal & Tubes Ltd begun manufacturing of Seamless Carbon and Alloy Steel Tubes and Pipes at a new plant at 101, Bileshwarpura, close to Chhatral in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Its first unit was set up at Mumbai in 1978 for assembling Commercial Quality Cold Drawn Seamless Carbon Steel Tubes Pipes.
The second plant was set up at Ankleshwar in 1982 for assembling Special Quality Cold Drawn Seamless Carbon Steel Tubes and Pipes. In just short span, by growing, in 1999, HMTL started exporting the products to the international market. The new plant has 75,000 MT Annual Capacity. It is helping the company to competitively cater to the growing demands of power sector (boiler and HRSG manufacturer), line pipes etc.
The commercial production has begun in June 2011. Currently, we are working on OCTG [Oil Country Tubular Goods] Pipes and by May 2016, we will start production for OCTG pipes. Our vision is to provide proficient, beneficial with the innovative solution in the seamless metal tubes and steel products in different sizes and types to most of the markets around the world within the predetermined time frame.
On the whole, the organisers welcomed on the 5 days of the fair, from 07. April to 11. April 2014, about 1210 exhibitors from 47 countries and 33668 visitors from 70 countries on the Tube in Düsseldorf.
The fifteenth Tube happens on 5 days from Mon., 04.04.2016 to Fri., 08.04.2016 in Messe Düsseldorf, Germany. We hope you will enjoy our presence in this leading trade fair.
