In this innovative, groundbreaking cooking show, Truman shares great nutritious and mouth-watering recipes that help with weight loss, health, nutrition, diet and a healthy lifestyle.
"Everybody eats", said Truman in press materials. "We now live in a culture where a majority of Americans are becoming more and more health conscious. Why is that? Well, over 70% of Americans are considered extremely obese. And because of that, more people than ever are becoming concerned about issues like weight loss, health and nutrition".
Truman's cooking show, shot on location in the middle of American's heartland in the Ozarks, is set in a small kitchen in the middle of nowhere. In a small country shack, with only a hot plate, skillet, small refrigerator and kitchen sink, Jack shows how easy and simple it is for anyone to have a healthy cooking lifestyle while having fun doing it.
"A plant based diet saved my life", says Truman. With healthy home cooking, food became my medicine. ABOUT THE HOST
Host Jack Truman is an award-winning actor, writer, filmmaker and 25 year veteran of stage and film. A former professor at Texas A&M University, Truman has also appeared in several television series and major motion pictures. Truman has a Master's degree in Communications and a Bachelor's degree in Business. Combined, his films have screened at over 300 film festivals worldwide to date. He is also author of THE VEGAN COOKBOOK. Jack was recently on the Short Film Jury at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
