Healthcare Design.10 Wraps Up In Las Vegas
The industry's premier event to continue with online Virtual Symposium.

Partnered with The Center for Health Design, and in association with the AIA, ASID, and IFMA-HCC, HEALTHCARE DESIGN.10 showcased 150 educational and networking sessions, roundtables, workshops, and facility tours, providing attendees with numerous opportunities to earn CEUs while they examined and discussed the current trends and challenges facing healthcare facility design. The conference opened with a keynote address from Dev Patnaik, the founder and CEO of Jump Associates, who discussed methods for success highlighted in his award-winning book, Wired to Care: How Companies Prosper When They Create Widespread Empathy. Closing the event, Dr. Esther M. Sternberg addressed a packed hall on the importance of one's environment, and how it can trigger or reduce stress, highlighting the mind-body interaction and its relation to healthcare facility design.
HEALTHCARE DESIGN also announced an extension of HEALTHCARE DESIGN.10 with the First Annual HEALTHCARE DESIGN Virtual Symposium, taking place Dec. 7 and Dec. 8, 2010. Created for industry-professionals who did not have time to attend all the sessions at HEALTHCARE DESIGN.10, or who find they are in need of more CEUs, the Virtual Symposium will consist of nine (9) 60-minute online Webinars discussing some of the most valuable content presented at this year's conference.
