CollegeAmerica has announced its FastFlex healthcare programs option. The FastFlex schedule is designed so that students can get the degree they need more quickly than they would at a traditional school, in order to start pursuing their chosen healthcare career as soon as possible.

The FastFlex schedule is designed so that students can get the degree they need more quickly than they would at a traditional school, in order to start pursuing their chosen healthcare career as soon as possible. CollegeAmerica offers the FastFlex option for the following healthcare degrees:
• Associate of Occupational Studies in Medical Specialties
• Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration
• Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration with a Biomedical Clinical Specialties emphasis
The Associate of Occupational Studies in Medical Specialties degree program prepares students to fulfill the various functions of a medical assistant, including radiology, billing, and laboratory procedures. The curriculum covers subjects such as nursing assisting theory, medical laboratory procedures and terminology, ECG, pharmacy, and radiology, as well as communication, psychology, law and ethics, and professional development. The program also offers students the opportunity to complete an externship, in order to augment their study with practical experience designed to prepare them for their professional future. The program length is 20 months, but may be completed in as few as 15 months on the FastFlex schedule.
The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration is designed to help students build a sought-after skill set in management, business administration, and communication, as well as healthcare and medicine. Individuals with a keen interest in the application of natural sciences to clinical medicine can choose the Biomedical Clinical Specialties emphasis, offered at the Fort Collins campus. The coursework for both bachelor's degrees includes instruction on accounting principles, computerized medical administration, the healthcare system, health facility operations, medical laboratory procedures, human resource management, billing, and more.
The program length for the degrees is 36 months, but may be completed in as few as 30 months on the FastFlex schedule, allowing graduates to pursue entry-level management positions in the healthcare industry. Admission to all programs requires a high school diploma or an equivalent GED® credential.
