HASS Entertainment reschedules its Fundraiser Fashion Show
Their have been some overzealous individuals that have put out false information about Angela Dewar's Winter Solstice Fashion Show Season Two; taking away from the true purpose of the show. As part of Winter Solstice Season Two is the launch of Angie TV, a streaming channel on ROKU. Individuals and/or the organization itself announced that the event is a launch party for their streaming series.
- (1888PressRelease) January 27, 2023 - HASS Entertainment presents Angela Dewar's Winter Solstice, a fashion show that is known for their focus on creativity, philanthropy, and sustainability. They will be hosting their second annual runway show on February 25, 2023 at the Captivating Event Space in Raleigh, NC. The show will have 1 designer; taking the stage with over 100 garments. Keeping with the notion of sustainability, nearly all of the garments are made from recycled materials.
The event is dedicated to the memory of the late Angela Dewar, wife of HASS Entertainment's founder, Antonio Dewar. The event is also to raise funds for two local charities.
This event is dedicated to bringing the featured designer's fashions to the local industry. It will feature designs from everyday wear, office wear, high fashion, and
lingerie collections. The event will also feature musical artist, Samone Douglas.
A portion of the proceeds of this fashion show will go towards A's for Kids, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that caters to the social and emotional well-being of school aged youth. The goal of this non-profit is to raise the self-esteem of our youth by ensuring their readiness to learn. The organization’s approach is to provide backpacks, school supplies, hairstyles and haircuts through their annual back to school festival. The festival will be held in August in the heart of southeast Raleigh, North Carolina. They are working to replicating their efforts in Durham, North Carolina.
Business attire from the show will be donated to Dress for Success Raleigh, a non-profit organization that provides underprivileged women with professional clothing and career opportunities so that they can secure employment.

Angela Dewar's Winter Solstice is not your typical fashion show. It is a fashion show as well as a fundraiser with ambitious goals. It was founded in 2021. The focus of Winter Solstice is to inspire people to become creative, to be enthusiastic to design, and to become the change they want to see in the world. The main focus of Winter Solstice remains in sustainability, and the shows are to educate the models on the industry.
It is also to support various non-profit organizations in an effort to challenge the status-quo of the fashion community and to show how fun and exciting it is to be environmentally responsible. Solstice believes that by giving back to the community, you open up a world of possibilities.
The intention of the fashion show is to highlight the designs of people from all age groups and skill levels under 18 to professional collections. The fashion show will also include a variety of donated items that have been given by local businesses in Raleigh and also a chance to purchase designs showcased on the runway via a silent auction.
Where: Doors open at 4:00 pm, with show times set for 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Costs: The cost of admission will be $50 for general admission, $75 for 2nd row VIP, and $125 for VIP Elite; which includes a plated dinner. Tickets can be purchased online at:
