Harris Corporation Receives $5 Million in Orders from Republic of Poland for Falcon III AN/PRC-117G Multiband Manpack Radios

- (1888PressRelease) October 12, 2011 - Poland becomes the eighth country to acquire the Falcon III AN/PRC-117G, a first-of-its-kind radio system that delivers mobile ad-hoc networking, voice and wideband data communications to the battlefield. Software-defined and upgradeable, the AN/PRC-117G supports a growing number of network-enabled missions with streaming video, collaborative chat and other combat applications.

In addition to Poland, the AN/PRC-117G has been acquired by the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Slovakia and Australia. Harris has shipped more than 15,000 of these radios worldwide, with more than a third deployed in support of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan.
