Harper Wins the 2012 NL Rookie of the Year
Akadema endorser Bryce Harper wins the National League Rookie of the Year.

The 2010 1st overall pick out of the College of Southern Nevada, won the award by getting 16 first place votes out of 32 (112 total points). The standout outfielder for the Nationals hit for an average of .270 with 22 Home Runs and 59 RBIs. Bryce let the Nationals in runs scored and triples. Harper becomes the youngest position player to win the NL award. Harper won Rookie of the Month awards in May and September. Harper made the switch from catcher to outfield and in his first big league season had 8 outfield assists. Harper uses an Akadema custom AMR34 glove.
