HARP presented new products
Kharkov Bearing Plant (HARP) presented new products in the framework of participation in the international specialized exhibition AgroExpo-2017 (September 20-23, Kropivnitskiy).
- (1888PressRelease) October 06, 2017 - For the first time at the exhibition, HARP presented new developments - HARP AGRO bearings with constructively new X-SHIELD sealing systems, which are characterized with even higher technical indexes of protection and reliability. High tightness values and complete protection against dust, dirt, rough impurities of new varieties of HARP AGRO bearings are achieved through the usage of multi-lip rubber seals in combination with a metal protective shield.
This line of X-SHIELD multi-lip seals is designed specifically for use in bearings that are operated in extremely polluted and highly polluted environments.
"We worked on new seal designs for about six months and eventually created a reliable protection system for the bearing unit where the bearing makes no more than 500 rpm," says Sergei Semykin, Chief Designer of the Ukrainian Bearing Industry Design and Technology Bureau. - For effective operation of agricultural machinery, there are necessary complete tightness and protection of the bearing against dust, dirt, water, as well as additional protection against coarse impurities and lubricant leaks from the bearings, which new seals provide for 100%. Bearing units, completed with HARP AGRO bearings with such seals, are maintenance-free for the entire service life. "
In addition, the innovative X-SHIELD seals increase HARP AGRO bearings' life-cycle in 50%, and are characterized with a wide range of operating temperatures (-40 to + 150 ° C).
"Until recently, HARP produced HARP AGRO bearings with X-SHIELD seal of the same type. Today, HARP offers an entire line of X-SHIELD seals for agricultural machinery. These are six different constructive varieties of X-SHIELD seals, the application of which is determined depending on the area and conditions of units application in the agricultural machinery. Thus, each manufacturer of agricultural machinery and agrarian can choose reliable bearing products based on the needs, " notes Sergei Semykin.
At the design stage, new developments of HARP with unique X-SHIELD maintenance-free seals have generated a high interest in the European market. As the results of the exhibition, the Ukrainian market is interested in innovative developments of HARP no less than European. Special interest in the novelties of HARP was shown by dealers, heads of agricultural machinery enterprises that visited AgroExpo, as well as by agrarians themselves. Exactly they are the final consumers of agricultural machinery and reliable advisers, forming demand in the agricultural machinery market.
In addition to the new generation of HARP AGRO bearings, HARP presented to the exhibition visitors ready-made solutions for agricultural machinery - maintenance-free HAPP AGRO UNITS, UC bearings (YAR analogues), ES (YET), EX (YEL) bearings and a line of pillow blocks on the basis of these bearings. The presented nomenclature of HARP bearing products is adapted to application in soil cultivation, sowing and harvesting implements, of both domestic and world leading manufacturers.
During the exhibition, HARP representatives held successful negotiations on the supply of their products to the number of regions of Ukraine. High reliability indicators and an increased level of protection against external mechanical impact, which are so necessary in extreme conditions of agricultural implements operation, continue to be the main advantages when choosing the bearing products of HARP.
