Hardin Construction adds to Georgia Northwestern Gordon County campus to meet the school's current needs and future growth
Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) September 28, 2011 - Hardin Construction Company recently completed construction of a 48,000-square-foot classroom and conference center building on the Gordon County campus of Georgia Northwestern Technical College, near Calhoun.
The two-story building is the third classroom and administration facility on the satellite Gordon County campus. It will help the college meet current needs and accommodate future growth.
The new facility includes faculty offices, classrooms, a 500-seat conference room, laboratories that complement the college's cosmetology, dental, nursing, computer and education programs, as well as a media center, bookstore and catering kitchen.
The architect of record is The Architect Group, Inc., of Atlanta.
Georgia Northwestern Technical College has three other locations in northwest Georgia, and is part of the Technical College System of Georgia, which comprises 28 separate colleges throughout the state.
