Hardin Construction Company LLC selected to build Cherokee County Elementary School.
(1888PressRelease) April 13, 2010 - ATLANTA - Atlanta-based Hardin Construction Company, LLC has begun construction of an $18.7-million elementary school building in the north Georgia town of Ball Ground, about 50 miles north of Atlanta, in Cherokee County.
The two-story, 139,144-square-foot facility-featuring classrooms, a media center, computer labs, a gymnasium and art and music rooms-is designed to accommodate 1,200 students. Hardin's work scope also includes development of the 25-acre school site including PE fields, interior finishes of the gymnasium, kitchen equipment and voice and data infrastructure. The building is scheduled for completion in late 2011.
