- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) October 10, 2013 - Hard Rock band South Of Sorrow has announce that following thier highly successful and nationally breakout album, Conspiracy Theory, they are planning a spring / summer 2014 tour. The album was released on 5/21/13 and has gained national notoriety quickly.
The album, which hit #82 on iTunes New Hard Rock chart, is packed with 12 genre busting tunes. The ground breaking album has opened many doors for the band and has turned SoS into a underground sensation. After releasing their first album, Out of the Darkness, the band was not fully happy with the feel of the music. They decided to revamp their approach and they called on independent rock legend Jeff Rains to produce Conspiracy Theory. "Jeff not only taught helped us redefine our sound, but he taught me how to write music." Faddle (Guitar play and vocalist for SoS) explained during a recent interview.
A mainstay on the independent Indiana hard rock scene, South of Sorrow has 2 albums and 1 very secret EP to their credit. The band has been featured on multiple radio stations and the single off of Conspiracy Theory, Drama, was voted one of the top 10 most requested songs on Untapped Radio.
The upcoming tour will cover all 48 mainland states. The band will be jumping on many festivals, supporting many other great nationals as well as headlining their own dates.
