(1888PressRelease) November 07, 2012 - Haffkin-Roth today announced the winners of the Haffkin-Roth Community Caring program. 15 charities will receive a share in over $600.000 in grants from Haffkin-Roth. Winning charities will use the funding for a variety of meaningful causes such as revitalizing communities, supporting the performing arts, offering recreation and therapy to people with special needs, humanitarian relief, and providing a free summer camp to economically disadvantaged children.

Haffkin-Roth Community Caring selected People in Need movement in Service of Asia, a Incheon based charity, as the top recipient of the Haffkin-Roth aid grants, awarding the charity $200,000. People in Need Movement are a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian relief and human development to empower those in need, particularly in disadvantaged communities across the world.

This program is the third edition of Haffkin-Roth Community Caring, which has provided a share of more than $3 million to 200 charities in Asia.

Earlier this year, Haffkin-Roth announced a two-year, $1 million commitment to the Haffkin-Roth Community Caring program, which allows users to choose from hundreds of thousands of charities and vote for them to win aid grants from Haffkin-Roth. The funding from this program is in addition to traditional philanthropic giving, which totals more than $2 million annually and reaches thousands of non-profit organizations.
