Magazine Street gallery announces "Fresh Off The Boat: New Paintings From Around the World" to open on Magazine Street Retail Relief Night.
New Orleans, LA (1888PressRelease) October 30, 2010 - Guy Lyman Fine Art has announced that it will host an opening featuring new paintings from around the world on Magazine Street Retail Relief Night, Saturday, November 6th, 2010, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The gallery is located at 3645 Magazine Street.
"We have been accumulating some really fine new paintings from Europe, Russia, China and the U.S. to feature at the opening," said gallery owner Guy Lyman. "As always, we focus on art that we feel offers great value for the money -- whether it's an older, classic painting or contemporary art from a currently-active painter."
The gallery chose Magazine Street Retail Relief Night to host the opening, since it typically draws people out for an enjoyable evening of activities on Magazine Street. The event was founded by Bryan Batt following hurricane Katrina, and has become popular over the years.
"We will have 'adult refreshments' and a lot of great art to look at, and we're looking forward to a really fun night," said Gallery Manager Lindsey Roussel.
The gallery can be reached at 504-899-4687. The gallery's website is at guylymanfineart.com, where much of the gallery's current inventory can be seen (the new inventory will be posted after the opening).
