GuruPurab Celebrations at The Paras World School
The Paras World School India celebrated the auspicious occasion of Gurpurab by hosting langar on Monday,11th November 2019 in its school premises. The langar was organized to inculcate Gurunanak Ji's teachings about Seva, equality, and service before self.
- (1888PressRelease) November 13, 2019 - Offspring of the center and secondary school served nourishment to the offspring of the essential wing. The school staff alongside the Didis and Bhaiyas were served nearby the youngsters.
The act of the langar, or free kitchen, is accepted to have been begun by the principal Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Ji. It was intended to maintain the principle of uniformity among all individuals, paying little respect to religion, rank, shading, statement of faith, age, sexual orientation or societal position. This is the uniqueness of TPSWI which underscores learning by doing. Wishing all of you a Happy Gurpurab.
The Gurupurab celebrations was filled with enthusiasm. The kids, told about the the Teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. They talked about, the festival is commonly comparative for all Sikhs; just the psalms are unique. The festivals as a rule start with Prabhat Pheris. Prabhat Pheris are early morning parades that begin at the Gurudwaras and continue around the areas singing psalms. For the most part, two days before the birthday, Akhand Path (a forty-eight-hour relentless reading of the Guru Granth Sahib, the blessed book of the Sikhs) is held in the Gurdwaras.
