The initiative supports the National Action Plan announced by His Royal Highness, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to achieve carbon neutrality, aligning with the directives of His Royal Highness, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, this action plan reflects Gulf University’s commitment to supporting national environmental initiatives, enhancing environmental awareness among students and the community, and contributing to the Kingdom’s environmental sustainability goals.

    In a statement given by Gulf University President, Professor Mohanad Al-Mashhadani, highlighted the significance of National Tree Week in promoting environmental security and fostering a culture of sustainability by expanding green areas, contributing to environmental preservation, and sustaining its resources. He affirmed that Gulf University plays an active role in this field by organizing events and initiatives that encourage students and community members to participate in environmental protection and increase awareness of the importance of tree planting.
