Guitar master, Andrea Rossi is a professional guitar player and Guiness Book of World Record holder. His album contains all of his original instrumental compositions.
- (1888PressRelease) May 05, 2011 - Guitar virtuoso Andrea Rossi exudes passion in his guitar-playing. Born in Pavia, Italy, the self-taught musician has always been fascinated by the electric guitar. Andrea renders tunes with rhythmic musicality that you can't help but be intimate with his every performance.
Having won many guitar and songwriting contests, Andrea was asked to teach at Civico musicale Vittadini, Pavia, where he was able to direct his own orchestra. In 1995, Andrea became active in creating music with collaborator Oliviero Malespina and with the band Tutto Contri, they broke the Guiness Book of World Record's Longest Song by playing the primates for 15 hours (they beat Elio's 12.)
Andrea toured in European theater with composer and producer Roberto Cacciapaglia, and this has enriched Andrea's music experience. In 1997, Andrea quit teaching to focus on guitar playing professionally, forming the Andrea Rossi Band. In 2007, he wrote all the music and its arrangements for Dian Katz's album. He also released his own instrumental album that same year.
Andrea Rossi's soulful music can be heard at iTunes, distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group.)
