GSTV Announces Sophomores: The Movie Premiering In January 2011
Sophomores television series, created by Yonas Michael, returning as a feature length film in January 2011.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) September 03, 2010 - Following a successful first season and the commencement of production on the second this month, the producers of GSTV's original comedy series Sophomores are proud to announce that the show will be returning as an 80-minute movie event in the new year. Sophomores: The Movie will be premiering in January 2011 and screening throughout the city of Atlanta, following the airing of the second season in HD on GSTV and People TV Atlanta. The film and the subsequent season of the series are set to go into production next week and run through mid-November.
Sophomores is produced by co-executive producers Yonas Michael and Sharon Ezra, with associate producers Jesse Brooks, Jennifer Mardis, Anjeli Singh, Evin Fowler, and supervising producer William Davis. Starring Michelle Rafferty as Margeaux Peters, Maiya Milan Gitryte as Lizabeth Martin, Joseph Shepherd as Luke Jameson, Nikko Pearson as Clive Jenkins, Julianna Strack as Kyla Cane, and Jennifer Mardis as Jackie Copeman. Co-Starring Kristy Butler as Sandra Charter, Lexie Crisa as Jessi Ann Hodes, Leta Lagaunda as Professor Linda Binder, Devin Winfield as Alexa Walton, Orly Waanounou as Renee Clark, Kaelyn Darley as Savannah Jones, Katelyn Sturdivant as Ericka Brown, Olivia Johnson as Jillian Marshall, Kelada Gilbert as Tina Jordan, and Erin Coleman as Angela Davis. And introducing Jessica White as Sniki Helsinki, Andrew Mixon as Adam Murphy, John Taggart as Dorian Lang, and Tyler Houston as Taylor Dam.
