GS Group To Present Unique Private Hi-tech Cluster Technopolis GS At Open Innovations Forum 2013

This year GS Group is participating in the event as a part of the official exhibition stand of the Kaliningrad region. The stand features the most important projects for the region's economy. Technopolis GS innovation cluster, a long-term investment project carried out by GS Group holding, occupies a significant place among presented projects. It includes a number of high-tech industries, research and development center, business incubator and a residential area.

Within Technopolis GS the only in Russia production of nanostructured carbon material (CNM) with an operating activation line. The installation producing the material was designed and manufactured on the basis of thorough research and development conducted by GS Group holding. The unique properties of the product are used in various industries, from oil and coal production to rocket engineering. Adding CNM in materials can significantly improve their key characteristics.

Technopolis GS is Russia's largest center for development and mass production of consumer electronics. Over the past five years there have been produced over 10 million digital set-top boxes, which comprise more than 2% of the world market. GS U510, the new set-top box by GS Group, was designed for use in satellite television networks around the world taking into consideration international experience of the company.

GS U510 model is a breakthrough in the development of Russian mass consumer electronics. This is the first mass market consumer electronics device established on the basis of the Russian microprocessor designed and manufactured in Technopolis GS. The new set-top box was presented in July 2013 and has already demonstrated excellent consumer characteristics. It received positive reviews from both GS Group long-term partner satellite TV operator "Tricolor TV" and thousands of viewers.

International Forum "Open Innovations 2013" will be held in Moscow on October, 31 - November, 2 at international exhibition center "Crocus Expo". Kaliningrad region and GS Group exposure will be available throughout the days of the forum in the hall of the pavilion 12 number 3 stand 12S07.
