Growth Welfare Organization Celebrated Universal Children's Day 2011 with Orangi Town Children in Karachi Pakistan

(1888PressRelease) November 22, 2011 - Karachi, Pakistan - An NGO Growth Welfare Organization organized an event on November 20, 2011 on "Universal Children's Day", in Touheed Colony, Organi Town, Karachi. The event was very successful, there were three schools with more than 150 students, which participated in the event and children have participated very strongly in speeches, songs, quizzes.

Chief Guest Mr. Muhammad Asghar Khan, President of Growth Welfare Organization had started the event with his speech and congratulated the volunteers for arranging such a good event, Mr. Khan also thanked all schools who have participated on very short notice, he said it's just the beginning, Growth Welfare Organization will arrange more of this sort of events.

General Secretary Growth Welfare Organization Mr. Asif Iqbal expressed his thoughts with audience, Mr. Iqbal said that even though Growth Welfare Organization is just One Year Old but it had started some very good projects like BariAmma.com which is an Online Magazine for women, we have started ComputerGuru.com.pk an Institute, which provides 100% job guarantee after the diploma courses. Mr. Iqbal has also announced that Growth Welfare Organization has launched Islamic learning center with the name of "Madarsa Najmul Shamsul Quran" in Orangi Town Sector 11 ½ and it's completely free, Mr. Iqbal said that Growth Welfare Organization will continue celebrating this sort of events to bring smile on children faces.

The event was organized in Touheed Colony, Orangi Town, this was highly effected area just couple of months back, where children are afraid to go out from their homes, children were not able to continue their academic education for few months, this had badly influence children's mind. This event has surely provided opportunities to children of Orangi Town take part in extra curriculum activities, children have aggressively participated in speeches, tablo songs, quizzes and there were prizes for students too. Mr. Iqbal General Secretary of Growth Welfare Organization was present with his two children, who also have participated in the event, there was a comedy program, which children have enjoyed the most.

Growth Welfare Organization has started very good initiative for the children of Orangi Town, and it will surely help these children to perform more and more in their future.
