Groupon Australia kicks off in Australia
The worlds biggest daily deal website Groupon launched their first offer to the Australian market.

During its first week serving Sydney and Melbourne, Stardeals' featured deals include surfing lessons, dance classes and upscale spa treatments. The site will expand to serve eight more territories in coming months.
This brings another player in the already over saturated group buying market in Australia. Such a large player as Groupon has major backing and coverage over many markets. I think this is major player that will stay for the long term.
Groupon Australia has launched under the name stardeals.com.au, this is following a dispute with Australian owned Scoupon which has registered the Groupon Australian domain.
Initially deals will target Sydney and Melbourne, however on their website Brisbane and Perth deals are coming soon!
