  • Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) August 20, 2010 - Groove Automotive, which owns and operates Ford, Mazda, Subaru and Toyota-Scion dealerships in the Denver area, is celebrating its one-year anniversary. During the past twelve months, Groove has increased its footprint in Denver, committed to doing business the customer's way and focused on community involvement, all while becoming one of the top dealerships in the state. To celebrate its first year, Groove will also host its "One Sale" with anniversary pricing on all inventory, now through Labor Day.

    Future Looks Bright for Groove
Groove Automotive opened in August 2009 with Toyota-Scion and Subaru stores on S. Broadway. In February 2010, Groove unveiled its Ford and Mazda stores on E. Arapahoe Rd. It has been a successful first year for Groove - just last month, Groove Ford's sales volume was ranked number one among all Ford stores in the state, and the Toyota-Scion, Subaru and Mazda dealerships consistently rank in the top three in Denver among their franchises.

Groove is built around creating a fun and satisfying experience for customers. Everything from the logo, which represents a customer behind the wheel, to Groove's personally tailored customer service options, show that the dealership is focused on doing things the customer's way. To prove this, the dealership boasts a four-day/200 mile, no questions asked return policy and a 60-day/2,000 mile guarantee on all Groove certified pre-owned vehicles.

When opening the dealership last year, Groove Automotive's CEO, Rod Buscher, had a specific vibe in mind. "We wanted an exciting name and an energetic dealership," he said. "We wanted it to represent the youthful spirit of the Denver market."

To make the car buying process even more convenient for customers, Groove introduced the door-to-door delivery service in July. This unique offering eliminates the need to make a trip to the dealership, allowing customers to work with Groove sales representatives over the phone or via e-mail. "We really try to go above and beyond to make the car buying process as easy and as convenient as possible for our customers. It's not business as usual at Groove, it's business the customer's way," added Buscher.

    Looking Forward: Expanding Groove Automotive
In 2011, Groove plans to expand in the Denver-metro area and add additional franchises to its portfolio of brands. Groove is also focused on increasing dealership technology to make the car buying and vehicle maintenance process as streamlined as possible for customers, including an interactive catalog of inventory and an easy delivery coordination process.

Drive for Education: Helping the Local Community
Serving the customers who have made Groove successful is also important to the dealership. In conjunction with its one year anniversary, Groove Automotive is kicking off its 'Drive for Education' program at all locations this month. The company plans to donate a portion of proceeds from every car sale to local schools, at-risk youth and other kid-focused charities in the Denver community. Groove hopes to raise more than $100,000 annually for local youth.

The Groove Mog: Supporting Local Musicians
Groove has also found a unique way of connecting with and supporting Denver's local music scene. The dealership has created a branded mobile stage, called the Groove Mog, which is a Unimog (a multi-purpose four-wheel drive truck) converted into a 12-by-12-foot stage on wheels. Unveiled earlier this summer, the Groove Mog brings the Groove spirit out of the dealerships and into the community, hosting local musicians on its stage before headliners take the main stage at Hudson Gardens, Comfort Dental Amphitheater and other local venues. New this month, Groove is also hosting weekly contests on www.groovemog.com, giving away a pair of concert tickets to shows at local venues each week.

The Groove Mog is the brainchild of Buscher. "We all live in and love Denver," he said. "We appreciate music, innovation, culture and fun so we created our mobile stage to support our city's talented music community and bring Groove to the people - wherever they are."
