Griaule Biometrics Partners With Supergiros To Deploy Fingerprint Recognition At Lottery Stations In Colombia
Griaule Biometrics has partnered with Supergiros to provide biometric fingerprint recognition for 3800 lottery stations in Colombia. This represents one of the largest non banking installations of fingerprint security, and makes Griaule Biometrics a leader in providing biometric solutions in Colombia.

Campinas, San Paulo, Brazil - Griaule Biometrics a worldwide developer of biometric technologies and services announced today that Supergiros a developer of lottery stations is using Fingerprint SDK to deploy fingerprint security at more than 3800 lottery locations in Colombia. Supergiros is using biometrics to quickly identify lottery customers for the purchasing of tickets, and award of winning lottery claims at lottery stations.
The new process provides a more secure way to identify the winner, and avoids any possible mistake of awarding the lottery winnings to the wrong customer. The project is a partnership between Griaule Biometrics and Supergiros, and makes Griaule Biometrics a leader in providing biometric solutions in Colombia.

Griaule Biometrics is also working with Supergiros, to provide fingerprint recognition for express payment centers inside local drug stores. There are 350 locations that will use the fingerprint recognition service in the North Colombia and Costa Atlantica area. The goal of the project is to provide a easy and secure way to identify customers with their service and utility accounts.
