  • (1888PressRelease) April 25, 2016 - Educators and students worldwide celebrate Earth Week with classroom activities, experiments, and investigations exploring how our world works -- and those at Cedar Grove Elementary School in Germantown, Maryland tapped the wealth of knowledge of greeNEWit's energy experts available through the OUR Schools Program.

    With special presentations tailored to Earth Week, the event at Cedar Grove Elementary on April 18th was particularly special, marking the 50th OUR School's presentation. Students went home buzzing with excitement as they left the entertaining display of acrobatics, skits, and live music that is an OUR Schools Presentation. Energy experts from greeNEWit delivered a fun and educational assembly that emphasizes the critical importance of STEM with regards to our environmental sustainability challenges.     To continue the Earth Week celebration, greeNEWit welcomes the community to join an open outdoor town hall forum and celebration of sustainability at Columbia City Center, Lake Kittamaqundi Pavilion on April 22, 2016 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. greeNEWit employees will also sponsor and be available to answer any sustainability questions at the Tiny Home Exhibit on the Proof is Possible Tour.

    greeNEWit is joining and supporting home performance guru Corbett Lunsford and his wife Grace as they take their message of Proof is Possible on the road. TINY LAB will be open for tours from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening, starting April 20, 2016.
