Green Toys Inc. Announces New Chief Creative Officer, Ian Coats Maccoll And The Retirement Of Co-founder
Co-Founder Robert Von Goeben set to retire as Green Toys looks to Establish the Future While Honoring Its Iconic History.

(www.greentoys.com), the award-winning manufacturer of eco-friendly and socially responsible children's products announced the hiring of Ian Coats MacColl as the company's first Chief Creative Officer. With 25 years of experience in the industry, Mr. MacColl will be responsible for overall product design, research, marketing and strategy for the company.

Mr. MacColl has been consulting with Green Toys for more than five years, working to expand the product line to include new revenue opportunities consistent with the company's sustainable mission. Previously MacColl was Vice President of Research, Design and Product Development at Wham-O. Before that, he was the Managing Director of IDEO San Francisco, an international design consultancy helping organizations innovate.

Green Toys also recently announced the retirement of its founder, Robert von Goeben. "We thank Robert for the many contributions he made to the success and growth of Green Toys. It was through his vision, coupled with co-founder Laurie Hyman, that Green Toys became an innovator in the toy industry and leader in sustainable products. We will forever be thankful to Robert for his role in making Green Toys a truly great American-made toy company. Von Goeben will remain involved with Green Toys in a consultant role through the end of 2016.
