Green Room Delivers for Neal's Yard Remedies Product Launch
Green Room Retail, the UK's fastest growing retail design and delivery practice, has worked with Neal's Yard Remedies to create a range of display units for the launch of their new organic make-up collection.
- (1888PressRelease) July 10, 2012 - Birmingham, United Kingdom - Green Room Retail, the UK's fastest growing retail design and delivery practice, has worked with Neal's Yard Remedies to create a range of display units for the launch of their new organic make-up collection.
Neal's Yard Remedies awarded Green Room the exclusive brief following a competitive pitch, which saw many other retail design specialists submit ideas. As a result, Green Room created a range of premium free-standing and wall-mounted display units to showcase Neal's Yard Remedies' new mineral make-up range in 25 stores and 13 franchises across the UK.
Green Room designed these units to provide a practical, flexible and striking method of merchandising the new range, with a further aim of ensuring they stand out within store whilst still blending with Neal's Yard Remedies' existing aesthetic. Due to the units' modular nature, they can be arranged in various ways to suit a diverse array of store formats, and to accommodate alternative merchandising schemes in the future.
The units have also been manufactured from sustainable materials, including FSC-certified wood, to stay true to Neal's Yard Remedies' brand values. In order to aid easy maintenance and merchandising alterations, the materials are fit for purpose: as grooves have been incorporated into the shelves, products can be arranged vertically to catch a customer's attention, while entire sections and accessory dispensers can be removed with ease when cleaning is required.
"Green Room impressed us with their understanding of cosmetics merchandising and the need to balance function with form, and the units now being rolled out in our stores are reflective of this attention to detail," said Melissa Hook, Head of Visual Merchandising at Neal's Yard Remedies. "Of equal importance was their respect for our organic origins, and their track record in championing sustainable retail design was especially reassuring."
Catherine Hair, the account director responsible for this project, said: "We've successfully overcome a diverse - and sometimes conflicting - range of requirements to provide a fitting home for Neal's Yard Remedies' new make-up range. The design is practical, flexible, affordable and sustainable, providing a premium merchandising opportunity entirely appropriate for the brand."
Neal's Yard Remedies joins such high-profile brands as Timberland, Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Citroen and Vans on Green Room's client list. According to Design Week's Top 100 Consultancy Survey Green Room is the UK's fastest-growing retail design and delivery practice.
