- (1888PressRelease) July 08, 2012 - Birmingham, United Kingdom - Green Room Retail, the UK's fastest-growing retail design and delivery practice, has been appointed creative partner to British company Bowers & Wilkins, manufacturers of the world's most advanced home cinema and hi-fi speakers.
After Green Room successfully delivered several high-profile projects aiming to promote the new Bowers & Wilkins range of new media products at large-scale events such as Gadget Show Live and the Maserati Trofeo MC World Series, the manufacturers chose them as their creative partner for ongoing promotional ventures.
Green Room has also installed a Bowers & Wilkins store-within-a-store at the Oxford Street branch of John Lewis, which merchandises the company's headphones, iPod and computer speakers; this opened on the 19th of May as part of a trial of branded areas across the John Lewis estate, and is located in the popular audio-visual department. This branded area illustrates the products' lifestyle attributes and presents the history behind Bowers & Wilkins; it also features a 3D static display of a pair of 'exploded' speaker drivers to show customers the sophisticated engineering within each of their products.
"As custodians of a world-renowned specialist audio brand, we are unapologetically protective about our products and how consumers experience them," said Karen Watts, Marketing Manager at Bowers & Wilkins. "Green Room has demonstrated complete empathy with this, creating visual and tactile experiences that match our audio attributes, while facilitating textbook merchandising opportunities. Green Room will be instrumental in the ongoing success of our retail investment and we are delighted to have them as a part of the team."
Steven Kainth, Green Room Account Director, said: "Our brief from Bowers & Wilkins is diverse, encompassing retail showcases, single events, global multi-date roadshows and brand presentations. The one constant is the demand for creativity, theatre and an attention to detail befitting one of the world's most exquisitely engineered consumer products. The opportunity to work with a brand of Bowers & Wilkins' repute is a privilege and a responsibility we will handle with pride."
